We are Ruslan and Olena Shvachko. On February 24, 2022, the war broke out in Mariupol. Bombs were falling from the sky and shells exploded all around. At that time, our second daughter, Lila, was 2 weeks old. We spent 6 weeks in the basement. Our daughter did not get to see any natural light, she loved to look at the candle. We were praying very intensely so that Krishna would help us. We found food, then it snowed and we managed to get water from melted snow. A shell hit our house and it destroyed the roof. We fled the city. There is no job yet, the wife is on maternity leave. The child is 8 months old.
