Nitai Gauranga Retreat in Ukraine – 2023
5-day Nitai Gauranga retreat helped Vaishnavas in Ukraine to remain fixed in their devotional practices.
Over a 5-day Nitai Gauranga retreat, devotees in Ukraine were blessed to get the association of HH Niranjana Swami, HH Trivikrama Swami, HH Jayadvaita Swami, HG Madhavananda Prabhu, HG Radha Govinda Prabhu, HG Achyuta Priya Prabhu and HG Dvija Govinda Prabhu. HH Niranjana Swami shared the nectar of maha-prakasa lila. At the end of his seminar, be thus blessed everyone:
“May you be always blessed with the association with devotees and may those devotees be always very kind to you and never let you forget the lotus feet of the Lord. This is the best benediction to get from the Lord.”
HH Trivikrama Swami expanded upon the vital need to keep Srila Prabhupada in the centre to make sure the Krishna Consciousness movement goes on as its Founder Acarya intended. HH Jayadvaita Swami thoroughly covered the topic of 4 regulative principles with all the minute details and answered the practical questions that arose in course of the seminar. HG Madhavananda Prabhu delved into the topic of Vrajavasis’ broken hearts and the story of when Mathura met Vrindavana. HG Radha Govinda Prabhu spoke about saranagati. HG Achyuta Priya Prabhu shared the nectar of the Seventh Canto of the Srimad-Bhagavatam and the importance of culture. HG Dvija Govinda Prabhu spoke on the topic of Sadhana in Acaryas’ instructions and personal example.
When addressing the devotees at the closing ceremony, HH Niranjana Swami emphasized the importance of such festivals and association with devotees:
“Even going through difficult times, having such festivals is the best way to remedy that. What will carry us through the difficult times, whatever the circumstances may be, is that we will be given the opportunity to associate with devotees and in this way to remember Krishna. I therefore pray that these events will continue and that the devotees will get the future opportunities to come and inspire themselves from one event to the next to remain fixed in their devotional practices. I pray that you will look for every opportunity possible to encourage devotees who may not have this experience to try to come and experience it. If they need help to come, we are prepared to help them. What gives us strength is the opportunity to associate with Vaishnavas, especially senior Vaishnavas who have come to give their association to all of you.”
