Kyiv New Navadvipa Temple Needs Power Generators and Solar Panels
All of New Navadvipa’s requirements for electricity were sponsored by the Southwest USA zone of H.H. Badrinarayan Swami.
Please help continue worshiping Sri Sri Radha Madhava in Kyiv.
Because of shelling and severe damage caused to the energy system in Ukraine, the Kyiv temple has large interruptions in electricity supply.
We are fundraising for electric generators and solar panels for Kyiv New Navadvipa temple. The temple is home to Sri Sri Radha Madhava and Sri Sri Gaura Nitai Deities. This is the largest ISKCON temple in Ukraine, a headquarters and an educational center. There is gurukula.
When the hostilities broke out near Kyiv, the Deities were taken out of the city, but recently They have come back. The temple came to life, the devotees of the Kyiv community are so enthused by worshiping their beloved Lords (Ed. only the small Deities so far).
The Temple is home to 15 devotees who are involved in puja and preaching, about 150 Vaisnavas attend the programs.
In the temple, 950 portions of prasadam for the Food for Life program are cooked daily.
Autonomous electricity will help support the Deity worship, cover devotees’ needs in water, warmth, hot food. We are truly grateful to all those who will contribute.
Equipment list: Sun panels 36 units, inverter, generator 10Kwt, batteries 180 Ah- ( 9,2 kW, 46-58V).
